The Grade II listed Lexham Hall is at the centre of a privately owned 4,400 acre estate in the upper Nar Valley of West Norfolk. It is home to the Foster family, but not open to the public. The gardens are open on selected dates and “by appointment”.
The original hall was built in the early 17th century and substantially remodelled in the Georgian period. The house has been in the Foster family since 1946 when it was purchased by William Foster and his wife, Jean. Neil Foster (William’s son) and his wife, Anthea lived in the Hall from 1989 until 2025 and Venetia Foster and her husband, Jack Nice now live in the Hall.
